load shedding is a blessing....

I know what is running in your mind. The title seems stupid right??? Ok... let me explain you. Every one of you will totally agree with me in the end. Yesterday I was in my gallery with my family when lights were out. I was having a walk as I had nothing else to do in dark. What a peaceful environment that was. Cool breeze blowing and no noise were around. It was very calm and relaxing. I noticed some other neighbors were also walking in their gallery. Some were talking and having tea with family. Well, I was very tired and waiting for the electricity so that I could start my assignment as I was running out of time to complete my project. But suddenly, I felt bliss. I started to enjoy the environment. How healthy and relaxing load shedding is, I have never think it before.
Very first, I hardly get time to walk but thanks to the load shedding, it gives me chance to pick a lot of time to walk. It helps to keep my health fit. In addition to this, it gives us chance to spend our little time with family and a moment to relax.

Secondly and perhaps most important blessing, it gives us opportunity to get rid of studies. With this blessing, I can luckily get chance to get away from horrible assignments and we come out with an excuse "sorry ma'am assignment is not ready... light he nahi thi poora din". What an excuse I would seek if there were no load shedding??? Loads of thank to our energy crises.
Moreover, the other thing I learnt is; punctuality. No matter where Pakistanis are punctual or not, they never forget to turn our lights off. And not a single day has passed when they forget to perform this very sincere duty. Light goes everyday on their promised timings. This is how sincere people do their jobs.
Now let’s think about the electronic appliances, even they got chance to relax a little bit. Think about the T.V that nonstop telecast horrible news of terrorism and terrible and pathetic saas bahu dramas. I feel big relief when T.V stops bashing.
And at last when I see electricity bill in my hand (which is 6000 minimum), I feel pleasure. A lot of benefit in just Rs. 6000/=??? After all, anything which is giving such learning and relief, deserve more than that. I would ready to pay the double. In fact we are lucky to have such energy crises which make SO MUCH difference in our lives and I hope the same for the rest of the years of Pakistan.
I am sure you are going to break your UPS and generators after reading this. Understand and value this blessing. Keep on Pakistanis….. GHUT GHUT KAY GEO….!!!!
